Meet Elizabeth and Alicia, 2022 Graduates.

I’m looking forward to being able to learn more and get more experience from working on clients that will help me have some prior knowledge before I start my CA.
~Elizabeth

It is a very welcoming and understanding environment. I have never felt as though I couldn’t ask questions or ask for help.
~Alicia

Elizabeth and Alicia reflect on their first month at Slomoi Immerman Partners

Elizabeth

Elizabeth grew up on a vegetable farm, re-locating to Melbourne to pursue her studies and career. She would describe herself as a “sweet tooth” who loves desserts. Her favourite hobby is sewing and making her own clothes. Elizabeth has travelled to a few countries, but has stated that Canada was her favourite country to visit. She is also a lover of cats and has a pet cat named Ginger.

How did you feel joining the SIP team?

I was very nervous at first but once I started working and I met everyone, I was able to relax, and I felt very comfortable

What was the best part of the Graduate Induction Training?

All of the graduates are starting with the same level of experience, so it is nice to have a group of people who are going through the same thing and having the same experiences as me.

What was the most challenging part of the Graduate Induction Training?

Feeling like I wasn’t going to remember the content that was covered in training, but after getting my first few jobs I realised that if I remembered the basics, I could ask for help from others on specific things to do with the client.

What are you looking forward to the most now you have joined the team and working on client work?

I’m looking forward to being able to learn more and get more experience from working on clients that will help me have some prior knowledge before I start my CA.

Alicia

Alicia moved to Australia with her family from Malaysia. She and her family love dogs, and have owned 5. Her current dog is an American Akita named Bella. Alicia’s favourite lunch is sushi and all things Japanese!

How did you feel joining the SIP team?

It is a very welcoming and understanding environment. I have never felt as though I couldn’t ask questions or ask for help.

What was the best part of the Graduate Induction Training?

The most enjoyable part of the graduate induction was finally getting to meet the other graduates in person.

What was the most challenging part of the Graduate Induction Training?

I was nervous to ask questions at the start, as I assumed they would not want to answer them or be annoyed that I was constantly interrupting. It was the complete opposite; everyone was very helpful and actually encouraged us to ask questions.

What are you looking forward to the most now you have joined the team and working on client work?

I am excited to get exposure to various types of entities.

Slomoi Immerman Partners wish Elizabeth and Alicia and all the graduates the best of luck and look forward to being a part of their future growth and success.
