The new financial year has started and with it has come several changes and opportunities to consider.

What are the changes and what does they mean for you?

Superannuation is ever evolving and here are some key take outs for the year ahead:

Contribution changes – 10% compulsory Super Guarantee, increased contribution caps for both concessional and non-concessional contributions.

Income streams – minimum pension requirements have halved and the amount from which an eligible member can commence an income stream from has increased to $1.7million.

SMSFs can now have up to 6 members.
